What you need:
String/yarn (any color)
A thick peice of wood (2 inches)
Nails
Hammer
markers (optional)
scissors
Thsi craft was really cool and an excellent craft for you to do with family. It makes awesome room decor.
Time: minimum: 20 min maximum: 1 hour
Take your peice of wood and your hammer & nails. Hammer the nails into the board in the shape of your desire. When tha is finished, grab your string and start playing around with string designs. When you find one you like wrap it around your nails, tie it and your done. If you want, you can add shapes with markers on the outside of the string area.

You can make any shape you want with the nails, you have the whole board to use
if the hammer isn't working you can use an automatic screwdriver
The string design matters, if you just wrap it around the nails randomly, it won't look good. play around with it a bit.
