Character drawing- blog entry

What you need:

1. graphite pencils (or regular pencil)

2. a piece of paper (8x by 11x)

3. a clear work space

4. an eraser

5. a character in mind

6. blending sticks (if you don't have blending sticks, you could use a q-tip instead)

This makes an excellent gift and is an awesome activity. I would say that 5 or up could do this. It's on a higher artistic level though so on the level it is, I would say 10 and up.

Time: minimum: 50 mins maximum: 4 hours

If you have a character in your mind, go on google and look up drawings/sketch's of that character. Chose one you like and study it, I would suggest you find a place to start off the drawing. After just make the drawing with your pencil and erase if needed. Use a blending stick for the shading. YOUR DONE!!
